How do I get information on fiber cards driver and firmware also for NIC cards on BSD?

nabob1,

Your question could be more specific. If you are looking for nic drivers on FreeBSD, the GENERIC kernel should include support for almost all chipsets out there.

Firmware is usually applied to the internal circuitry on a card, independent of the OS. Usually.

By "fiber cards driver", do you mean cards that connect your computer directly to a fiber-optic network.

With more information about the problem, you can get a better answer.
