We are building 4 new buildings and one of the buildings will be a data center. The I hava a 81c thant will then be moved to the new site. I want to do away with the copper cable from building to building and strickly use fiber for connectivity. I will have anywhere from 20 to 100 instruments in each of the new sites . Whats my options on some type of fiber modules to run 2000 and 3900 series phones and analog extensions? I would like another opinion besides my local Telco account manager. The 81c is runnng succ. 3.0.

mini remotes are pretty clean, you need lmi/lmx cards in an ipe at the 81 then cards in a opt 11 style cab, i've got a few here at my site with o trouble, some of mine are out on range of our fiber loop and they work on t1's off of the ds3 ring.. very little trouble, add dlc and mw/alc as needed on the remote end. another possible solution is ipe remotes, seem to be a little harder to set up, but work.. with the number of phones being light remote ipe's would be over kill

Can't recall how many card slots are the max for mini carrier. May need a remote fiber shelf for larger buildings. Other thing the Mini Carrier uses a T1 signal so some type of copper to fiber conversion unit will be needed. Mini Carrier does offer an Emergeny stand alone but copper trunks from teleco would need to be where the minicarrier is.

mini's max out at 8 cards, 2 per lmi, and 2 per lmx, you can have a lmi, with 3 lmx's connected, thus your 8 card slots, the fiber would get you 16 card slots.
