Is it possible to get fast export to pull data from fields in multiple tables? I know this sounds like a funny question but unless I am missing something, it appears that you can only output fields from a single table when you build a fast export script using Oleload. My destination is a SQL server database so AXSMOD is in use here.

RickH,

To FastExport via OleLoad from multiple tables, first create a "dummy" table on Teradata that has the exact same column data types as the data to be exported. There is no need to insert rows into the "dummy" table. In the OleLoad GUI, select the "dummy" table as your source. Then, when launching FastExport, modify the SELECT statement in the FastExport job script to produce the data you really want to export. The OLE DB access module will never know that the data didn't come from the "dummy" table. It is CLUNKY, but it works.

Keep smiling!
