Hi Sairaochowdary,

I'll answer what I can.

1. Once described as: A materialized view is a database object that contains the results of a query. They are local copies of data located remotely, or are used to create summary tables based on aggregations of a table's data. Materialized views, which store data based on remote tables are also, know as snapshots.

You can get the full story Here

2. No. (well, not that I've ever heard of!)
3. Need more information here ... where is the term "confirmed fact" used ?
4. No.

I agree with Exie.

1. He already answered.

2. We cannot import oracle packages into a catalog.

3. ?????

4. No, but you can create them in a catalog. First create a calculation or filter and use that as the base for the prompt.

Good Luck!
