i am running a mail server with sendmail under mandrake 8.1 and i was wondering could i set up fetchmail to get mail from some earthlink accounts and then have it forward to some email address that i am hosting on my server both sendmail and fetchmail would be running on the same server if fetchmail will not work is there anything that could work or is this just something that can't be done i am new to the world of linux and i just keep thinking up thing that i would like to learn thanks a lot for all of your help

Thanks
Ben

fetchmail and sendmail don't conflict with one another.

Sendmail is always used to send mail out to the big bad world, and it can be used to receive mail from other machines, but when you have a pop account as you do, the tool to get mail is fetchmail (or something like it).
