Fetchmail - Socket error

I am new to Linux I am trying to set up a Email server (i.e.isp -> fetchmail -> sendmail -> qpopper)
I set up my .fetchmailrc file when I ran it in --verbose mode it returned a message as follows:


fetchmail: 5.9.0 querying email.xxxxxxxxx.us (protocol POP3) at Tue 26 Nov 2002 03:45:52 PM EST


fetchmail: Query status=2 (SOCKET)
fetchmail: normal termination, status 2

Can anybody help ?

Figured it out I had my .fetchmailrc set up wrong !!!
