Fetching attributes values from livelink using livelink API

Hi All,

I am new to livelink API java coding so need some help in completing my POC.

I need to extract data from livelink using java utilty program.
I have written a java program which extract the documents using livelink API but also i need to get all the metadata (categories and their attributes values) associated with extracted file to fetched.
Is there any function available in livelink API which can fetch attributes value.

Or is there any sample code written to refer from.
