I am getting data to a report using .txt file, but I don't see all the data in the text file. Data line in the text file has a about 60 characters. But I see only about 10 characters in the report. I tried to change the field size in Crystal Reports 5.0 but there is no such option. How do I change the feild size.

If you "browse" the field (right click on the field, select browse), you will see the field definition (number of characters, field type. If it has the correct size (60 or whatever), then it is just a question of making the field bigger on the report, so it has room to display all the characters.
If it has the wrong size, then the schema is incorrect, and needs to be edited through the ODBC manager.

When I browse it says 23 that's the problem I have, I cannot change that value

The schema for the txt file has defined that field as being 23 characters. You need to correct the schema.
