feeding multiple files to media player

I'm trying to send a list of songs to media player using JS or HTML. I don't want to write any song lists to the server in order to accomplish this. The closest I've come is being able to create dynamic SMIL code on a page in a frame using JS, but I don't know how to pass the URL of the virtual page to Media Player to parse. Any method of playing multiple songs in Media Player without writing a file in advance would be a great help.
