I am currently running a network server using samba as a file server and domain server under redhat 7.2. I want to update my version of redhat to Fedora Core 4 (not sure if that is the best but I believe it is the newest.)

Was wondering if there is an easy way to do this, or do I have to start from scratch here.

Any help would be appreciated.

Chris

I would be careful of FC4 if you are using the server as a samba server.
I seem to remember reading that there were some issues with FC4 and samba and windoze networking.
You might be safer moving to FC3 or at least check out the release notes for FC4 first.

Thanks for the responce I'm going to go with 3

hehehe

Might be wise.
Might also be wise to check the release notes for 3 as well. Just to be aware of all issues that might relate.
