Fedora Core 3 + Gig NIC HELP

I have just recently installed FC3 and I have a Linksys EG1032 Gig NIC. There is a driver for 2.4 on the LInksys website but no support for 2.6.x Apparently it is built on the NatSemi's 83820 chipset. I need a little command line help on how to enable the ns83820 driver so that the card will start using that driver. Can anyone shed some light on the issue?

In /etc/modules.conf

Code:

alias eth0 modulename

Just to get it working now:
modprobe -v modulename to load your driver.
ifconfig eth0 address netmask up
