Fedora Core 2: 1680 x 1050 resolution..not working.

Hi, I recently plugged in one of those wide screen LCDs (specifically the Apple 20" ones) and I can't seem to get it to the optimal resolution of 1680 x 1050. I think the closest I can go is 1600 x 1200, but that stretches everything...

Can someone help me out? Thanks

You'll probably need to find drivers for the monitor or write your own setup for X

Thanks for the reply. I don't think there's any drivers for this monitor for Linux. I managed to get a resolution that 'fits' the screen, but I think it's a 1400x1050 resolution, just 'stretched'.

Now my spheres are ovals! I've been fiddling with the xorg.conf file for a bit but can't seem to get it to work...

I've been fiddling w/ the 'monitor' section especially, but no luck.
