Federation Trust

Hi All

I am trying to create a new federation trust.
When I run from EMC comes back with a "The remote server returned an error: (407) Proxy authentication Required"
Exchange is 2010 sp3

Our proxy server is Forefront TMG. Tried monitoring traffic from Exchange server on TMG when trust is attempted but not seeing any traffic.
I expected to, maybe wrongly.
Any ideas please?

Hi All

Have been able to create new federation trust.
Apparently exchange 2010 will try and access the internet directly when trying to create this trust
For us it needs to go through our TMG proxy.

I set it using this command Set-ExchangeServer -Identity <CASSERVERNAME>-InternetWebProxy

http://<tmgproxy>:8080
