I've got another system I've been toying with putting into service, and have a weird problem. Ever since I got this unit, the NAM will not let me into feature 915. It's a 6 port fiber, 4.0.4c software. Works fine, just can't get in there. I've also tried Feature 911-920 (I've seen some feature 915 codes shifted)

any ideas? thanks!

Try a FEATURE **XFTEST,pswd: config, and check the assigned codes. Yeah, I've had they shift also.

Drop me your address, I'd like to send you a case of beer. That did the trick, it shifted to 925.

How tempting...but notta problem-glad to help.

Daveyboy2, if you do that xftest routine and REMOVE all the codes, then cycle the power on the NAM it should come up using the correct default codes.

I've been a compu-jockey for 12 years, and when dealing with Microsoft, I've heard too many 'shoulds'.

Now, when someone asks me why something has crashed, instead of telling them that it is hardware designed by humans who are flawed anyway, and getting all technical - people understand this simple phrase -

"Microsoft says it shouldn't happen" [yinyang]
