feature access codes

The ARS access code can have two entries. Access code 1: (typically 9), however there is also Access code 2: which I have never used. Can someone provide the significance of this. If I were say enter a 8 here. Would pressing 8 access the ARS tables in exact sameway as 9. Or are there other interactions that can happen.

Most likely a carry over from the old days when you dialed a 9 for local and an 8 for LD

I think perry may be right. But i have used it cutting from one main group to another. Having the 8 go to 9 let me build up the groups, and test them before putting them into production.
