Feature 986 with a cordless.

Hello,
I got a customer that I hooked up one of the new model Norstar cordless phones T - 7406. I programmed one of the buttons with "Feature 986". I can't get it to work when they want to transfer to Mailbox. If I do a feature * 0 it says that is the feature on the button. The display doesn't come up with the mailbox prompt when the button is pushed. It comes up with the transfer prompt under the right softkey. This just transfers to the extension just like Feature 70. All extension numbers and Mailbox numbers are the same.

Does that phone have at least 2 intercom paths. If so press the button and the display should read "party not connected" or something close. If it doesn't display that then try Feature **XFTEST, 266344 to list all registered feature codes. The VM transfer doesn't have to be F986 if someone wanted to get creative. Good Luck

I believe it has only one Intercom button. Should it have two buttons assinged to it?

How do I change the darn time on this m7310 system?
And does anyone know where I can get the administrator manuals for the m7310 system? I am subleasing this place and they won't give me the manuals....
