In reply to your post 5-23, you are correct, there is no feature 968. The feature you want is F*9 which is "RUN/STOP".
I am makeing an assumption that No. 1- the sets are M73XX and No. 2 have memory buttons that are misslabled as F968 instead of F986. The original installer just used this button on the sets without changing the lables and over time for what ever reason the run/stop feature is not on the memory button.
The processor doesn't recognize F968 but sees the 9 only in the comand string. F*9 is RUN/STOP, the feature you want.
