Can anyone give me the correct procedure to fdisk linux in root? I have tried to fdisk through Windows, but that doesn't work at all. I know there there are steps to do this, but I can't seem to find them anywhere, in my books or from linux-mandrake.com.

Thanks in advance.

Well, I'm not entirely sure what the problem is. All you have to do is type:

# fdisk /dev/hda

Note: "hda" needs to be change to the primary linux partition (/) on your drive. The command "df" can help you determine the primary linux partition.

From in fdisk just type 'm' for help and do what ya got ta do.
