I'm trying to troubleshoot a problem with shop order release which appears to be related to a field named fcs_scheduled in the SFORDFIL_SQL table. When using the order release module, shop orders with the fcs_scheduled value of 'N' will pop up a window stating the order has not been scheduled, forcing the user to restart the release process. Orders with a value of 'M' release without incident. Can someone explain what this field is and what causes a change in value? We have tried to re-create this error without success. Macola 7.5.103f on MS SQL Server 7. Thanks.

Changes that affect the length of time that an order or detail step will take, or changes to the start or end date of a process will set this flag to “N”. If you set the flag to “M” for manual the system will assume that you a taking control of the scheduling process and let you do whatever you want to to the order dates. The easiest way to deal with this is have the user makes a change to the order press the reschedule button on the order header record.

good luck.

Thank you, that was it. Care to divulge where you find this information?

When I was working at Macola I helped design and write this process so it was just a matter of remembering how the process worked. I did write a full description of the process and sent it to documentation at the time. So it should be in the help system somewhere, sorry I don’t know where it is in the doc. I read this forum occasionally to see the questions and comments of the users. Most of the questions are handled very well by others so I don’t comment often.
