FC-AL 9.1 Gig drives

I recently purchased (via e-bay) 5 (five) 9.1 Gig Hard Drives which I thought were SCSI's. When I received them, I didn't even recognize the interface, but after doing some research I found that they were FC-AL, which I must admit I have not ever even heard of. It appears that this type of interface is used on Suns microsystems, so that is why I am posting this here. My main questions are 1.) is there any way to use these in a standard desktop pc (a card perhaps) and 2.) Is there any demand for this drive, that I might at least resell them to recover the money I spent on them.

Fibre channel abitrated loop is a high speed (1 gigabit per second) interface used by computers who can use the speed. so I am unaware of any PC contollers for it, desktop or not. NAS SAN and unix would be most likely.

As a guess, they might sell on ebay, I bought mine there.

I'm sure others use it, but off the top of my head the one I definitely know uses these types of drives is the Sun 880. Unfortunately I haven't been lucky enough to tear into one of those yet, but it wouldn't surprise me if it used a 64-bit PCI controller, unless it's on-board. I've heard of people getting the 32-bit scsi diffs to work in a PC, so the newer might work too. --
