fbackup (hp-unix)

Hi;
I have a very simple question. can I do fbackup on disk without using tape.
I wold like to try it first with small file and make a backup and then do it on tape

e.g.
#fbackup /tmp directory to stdout, then cd to my home direcotry and restore it.
/usr/sbin/fbackup -i /tmp -f - | (cd /home/myhome;/usr/sbin/frecover -x -F -f -)
