hi,
we are about to purchase an LTO tape library device as part of a new server config (hpux 11). As i have not used a tape library device under hpux before, i was wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to how i go about automating the tape change when using the fbackup command. I have reviewed the man pages for fbackup with little success - Is it part of the configuration file param's you can pass to the fbackup commmand?
any help much appreciated....

Read man pages on mc command.

mc -p /dev/rac/c10t3d0 -sS1 -dD1

This command will load a tape from storage location 1 and load in tape drive1. These commands are relative to 1 and my
ATL is relative to zero. May also read man pages for mt command.
