We use procomm to send faxes automaticaly, using a script to manage the fax queue.
Lately I tried to migrate from Win 95/procomm 3.0 to Win 2k/procomm 4.8. , using the convert utility for the script.
In the new configuration, the script reacts different.
I use the $FAXSTATUS variable to detect whether the fax is finished sending (all faxes from the queue).
In the new config. The variable becomes value 0, though there are still faxes in the queue.
Anybody had this prob before ?

I don't have 3.0 at my work machine, but there have been some major changes in ASPECT, particularly between versions 3 and 4.x. In 4.x, $FAXSTATUS only affects the current fax transaction, and will be zero if no fax is actively being transmitted. You can check the value of $FAXSENDCNT to determine how many faxes are still in the outbox. My initial guess would be that the conversion utility did not do a complete or adequate job of converting your original ASPECT file, so you may need to perform some cleanup on the converted file to make it operate as expected.
