faxserver on acs 5.0

Hello I'm thinking of buying a faxserver software to send out faxes.So what will be the best way to add the modem to the ACS 5.0.Should I treat as a modem or a fax machine.I'm only going to be sending no recieving.And I will like not to assign a dedicate line.

Just give it extensions and treat them as modems. If you had inbound faxes that routed through a vmail auto attendant, then identifying them as fax extensions would be in order. Since you'll only be sending, additional or special programming is not required.
