Faxing through 3Com/USR modems

I am using RelayFax on Windows NT4 to fax through a USR 56k Faxmodem, and that works fine, but when I try to use a (much more expensive) 3Com Courier V.Everything modem, all that gets sent is the top centimetre or so of each page. I have the latest drivers, and the Init strings are identical for both modems.

Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

Try HylaFAX.
3Com modems works fine.
