Fax without account codes

Have a PRI with account codes on all channels.

Customer wants to use fax machines without using account codes.

Deltacom is the CLEC with DMS-100.


If I get them to create a 2nd trunk group with ch 21,22,23 without account codes. Then if I add tk grp 890 with the 3 channels with direct line pickup to faxes.

My question is, will I have to move the 3 channels out of the B-Channel 1 and do a B-channel 2 with the 3 channels? Or can I just remove 3 channels from tk gp 70 and add to 890?

You can just remove the lines from pool 70 and add them to pool 890. I have done this before with success.

I've also done this before with success, once I found the old customer configuration on the PRI and Tk report.


Some times is just best to bounce things of others.
