FAX SERVICE THRU UNITY (Expert level)

hi everybody,

i have the following scenario:

PSTN lines connected to port 1/1/3 directed to a greeting message of unity port 5018. then it should forwarded to the user extension 8448 to send a fax

the problem is:
i can't listen the fax tone when i dial the user extension

Is "user extension 8448" an IP phone or an analog line (ie off a VG224 or the like)?
If an IP phone what do you get when you dial 8448?

Seems to me that you need to troubleshoot why dialing 8448 is not getting to the fax before you can get anything else to go to it, no matter how many scripts you have.

no the 8448 is a route pattern routed again to the VGW to match the faxin dial-peers (incoming dial-peer 8448 and outgoing dial-peer is 901) send the fax to the exchange.

the purpose of this scenario that they need everyone to receive his fax through company greeting message if they need it to send it to one mail only without greeting message it will be easy to do it. but the problem when the call goes to the call manager and again to the router no fax tone.
