We are in the process of implementing a fax server solution. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of what to look out for and could help with a PRI question.

We are using a Nortel Opt. 61C release 23. We are going to use a fax server solution from GFI called "Faxmaker for Exchange 2000". The proposed config. will be:

We have two PRI/ISDN T1s coming in from Bell with a single block of DIDs. We are going to take one of the PRIs and place it on a separate new block of DIDs and re-route it in the PBX to point to the ISDN card (Diva server T1/PRI 24m made by Eicon) in the fax server itself. We are taking the P.O.T.S. lines that are currently spread throughout the company and point them to the new DID block that will then route to the fax server PRI card. We will then either 1) assign local admins. on each floor an account on their workstations so they can log in, check the faxes and distribute them or 2) use Exchange LDAP services to forward the fax to the local admin's P.C.

However, since I'm fairly new to the PBX world, I need to know which LD in the PBX to go to so I can re-point the PRI to a different set of DIDs and once I'm there, how do you re-point them???

Any helpful hints/tips would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks
