I'm trying to connect a fax-server (ferrari fax) using a OfficeMaster Card (by ferarri electronics) to a BCM BRI module using QSIG.

The card supports QSIG and PtP. The Loop on the BRI is set to T/QSIG.

The Link won't come up.

anyone ever tried that before???

I'm assuming your not in North America, and you have the MCDN/QSIG keycode?

right, i'm in germany and have the QSIG/MCDN keycode :)

I'll plead ignorance on this one. Maybe Mr Marshall will pop in and read this as he seems to have had experience with QSIG before.

They don't let us play with that stuff over here in the states.

I have a friend in Germany ...so i'm going to take a shot at this :)

Why do you need QSIG going to a Fax server? It is a PBX to PBX protocol running on top of ISDN

All you need is the BRI (using complementing interfaces)
What type do you have on the BCM and on hte Fax svr

the problem is: when using a normal S0 ISDN i'm only able to send 8 numbers to the fax-server. So i'm using a T0 to send the whole 8xx to the server using dest. digits.
i could use normal dss1 without QSIG, sure.
