Fax ringing on main line

I have a customer with a MICS 6.1 with a fax server and 4 additional ATAs. I have all the fax lines on the fax server forwarded to one another on do not answer and busy. I have the ATAs busy tone on no answer. I have changed the controls for lines and sets to the extension the device is attached too. Unless I missed something the main extension is no a control set for any fax line or fax set. It seems to ring to prime set when fax server has all lines busy, but cannot be certain of that. IT guy has no idea where fax goes when all lines are busy.

This is driving me nuts. Any suggestions?

Go into the fax line or target line and make prime set = None and see if that helps.

Yes the other Target Line setting is also "if Busy: Prime Set" or "if Busy: Busy Tone"

I would just make it Prime Set and the Prime set equals the same DN the Target Line is assigned too.

I am also not sure that I would even have Control sets involved or ATA settings.

Just Call Forward Busy in capabilities to the next ATA's DN so that you complete a circle.

Just the lines in bold is all I would probably do.

found prime still set to main extension on most target lines but busy was set

tks made changes to prime set to none. will update in a few days. thanks again..

Set prime set to none and changed parameter to busy if needed. Prime set 3100 still getting faxes. Any further ideas? thanks

Have you tried making the prime set equal the DN of the lead ATA?
