I have an issue with fax. Fax machine A cannot transmit faxes to fax machine B. Fax machine B can transmit to fax machine A. Fax machine C can transmit and recieve from both fax machine A and B. I set up the programming for fax machine A and B to replicate fax machine C. As far as I can tell it has to be a problem with one of the fax machines and have dispatched the contractor that takes care of our fax machines I just wanted to know if any of you had any ideas of what else in my CS1000E it could be if anything. Thank you very much.

Just print out your analog builds please. Could be something with TGAR NCOS or CLS ...

internal?

might try cls faxa.. but 90 percent sure it's the machines.. if possible i would swap the two tn's to see if the problem moves

I had this same problem with 4 digit faxing between faxes. The problem was the transmit & recieve speed on the fax machine. I had to change the speed to 14400 from 32000. Hope this helps.

Make sure your PRI (assuming outsides lines are involved) are set to 3VCE - lots of people report problems when they have VOD

Just do a LD 60 STAT on the PRI and it will show

Yep nice ones GHTROUT and mqh123 - we did have to change our VOD to 3VCE for a PRI to help resolve an issue.
I also agree with johnpoole on moving it and see if the problem follows. The issue is typically with the fax machine as the internal modem can break. We have replaced a half dozen or more in my time.

Just remember that if you are using the PRI for Data Calls - for instance if you pull ISDN lines from the switch for video conferencing, you will break their ability to call out over any PRI that you change from VOD to 3VCE.
