I have a BCM400 R4.0 installed for a company which has recently added a small remote office. They put in IP2004 sets which are operating well. Since there is no analog for fax at the remote site, I need to install a fax gateway. Anybody have any experience in configuring the BCM to work with the Audiocodes MP112? This is a new one for me. I assume that the gateway uses an IP client license? I've looked high and low for some type of interworking report or integration document but have come up empty. Any tips and/or docs are appreciated.

Yes I have and it works great. You will need to use SIP trunks to connect them together. Once you enable the keycodes, build a public route/dest code to the audiocodes then use Line Redirect to forward a target line to the public destination code.

Thanks for the reply DB. I understand that there are separate H323 and SIP trunk keycodes on the BCM. Is this so and, if so, which specific license(s)do I need to buy for my application? Any special configuration required to permit the call coming via the VoIP gateway to use the PRI on the main BCM?

As I stated in my first reply, you would need SIP trunks. I would recommend just one license. It would cover a couple of analog SIP devices unless the multiple devices are used extensively, then I would get one license per analog device.

Yes you will need to program Remote Access Codes to allow the newly licensed SIP trunks to access the PRI. When programming the Audiocodes MP-112, make sure you also send the 9 as this will be needed to access the PRI using the BCM destination codes.

If you need help with either the BCM or configuring the Audiocodes, let me know. I am certified on both products.
