FAX over IP MD110-BP

Only about 40% fax sesions are succesfull between MD110 BC12.5 sp5 and BP250 v.6.0 over ip trunk (G.711) . While fax transmision between MD110's are OK as well and bet

Is it necessary having license for FAX 3 recognition for transmiting fax between MDs over H.323 trunks?

I think that no. this licence is not realated with VoIP solution, but It is used for trafic compresion in DRA solution.

make sure BC12 is in latest version (SP7) with ELU32 in R4F.
don't know about BP250 though, check this with your service provider...

I can not send fax-es from one MD to the other through ip trunks.
MD software version is BC12 SP7 and with ELU R4F.
Can you help me with your routes' parameters?

It is not my intention to steal others' threads. Even I have some time reading information in this forum I don't know well the rules. I am new user with MD and I am during the phase of installation and I am trying to understand what is happening during configuration.
Anyway, sorry to zirafa if He has the same opinion with you regarding my way of writing.

No problem, rfpup. We are not thiefs. We just want a fax over Ericsson MD110 IP networking.
We have tested BC12 sp5 with VoIP FW R3D. There is newer version of VoIP FW for ELU32 at this moment. We are going to test R4F.
The BP is v6.0 and IPU with FW R5A.
Our configuration has not something special. We need G711 codec for fax call.

zirafa, small tip, if you post MD110 printouts use the [ignore][tt] - monospaced text - [/tt][/ignore] tags to have a good printout :
