fax not working on IP Office port.

I had a customer who had to move, but they left a section of their office at the old location. They moved their IP Office and we added a small control unit with 8 phones and connected them via SCN. Everything works except they cannot complete an outbound fax. They receive faxes just fine. All other calls seem to work just fine. When I watch the call in system status it goes out with the proper short code match, across the scn trunk and sends the right digits. The call even connects and lasts about 50 seconds, but the fax machine always returns "busy" as it did not transmit the fax. Ideas? I have the single line port set to fax. No changes were made to the machine itself and it seemed to work fine when it was local on the main system.

adjust the baud rate of the fax machine down to 14.4k.

What codec do you have on the SCN trunk?
Do you have Fax support enabled on the SCN trunk?
