Fax Modem Sharing

I'm trying to share my virtual fax driver across my NT network. The driver is in the printers folder and i'm able to send and receive faxes to the pc it's attached to. But whenever I attempt to share the driver, i get a Dr. Watson spoolss.exe error. When i installed the printer driver, it configured on the c:\winnt\capture port. I've tried to share it that way and share it by changing it manually to COM1 and it still won't work. Can someone help please?

Type of Modem: USR 56K External
Connection: COM1
OS: NT 4.0
