Fax Machines not communicating????

Thanks in advance for and any ideas - I have a customer with multiple sites who can fax documents to anyone except (sometimes) for the other offices within there organization. All the machines within there offices are made by Brother. The error they get is poor line condition. I have tested the line and it seems fine, and also they can fax anywhere else.It seems when I go there with my machine to try it - it always works on theirs.

sounds just like a problem i was having it was finally solved when customer changed LD carriers

I have had the same problem but it is a hit or miss problem. It may last a few days and it will not come back for a few weeks. It could be the phone system, telco, or the other office fax machine. The voltage is not right and the Brothers are looking for better signal qualty then the other fax machines.
I have done nothing about it and told them to use their other fax machine for those problems and it works every time from the other fax.

check the frame sync settings on the systems
usualy 1 site is designated the master & the others would synch to this.
