Hi guys!
After more then a week of trying, testing and whatnot and some calls with our provider and our support company for the IPO I'm out of ideas and a bit burnt out about that topic...
Don't worry, it's not a ISDN > SIP migration problem, it's a bit after that.
We run an IPO 500v2 and migrated to SIP some months ago, running 9.0.12 with the IPO. 3 analog faxes are connected over some analog ports to the IPO, our FAX Server with an ISDN SIP CAPI Software (ISDN > SIP, no T38, Softmodem etc. like xCAPI) runs as SIP extension. This worked great with out main SIP trunk, G711 for line and SIP user, Call code was "faxcall" (german version, dunno about the right english terms).
After the upgrade to 10.1 the problems started...
Suddenly we could receive fax, but we couldn't send them. But nothing had changed in our config!
But the same config works, if the fax go out over our secondary trunk. Same options, same checkboxes...
It drives me insane, because before the upgrade both trunks worked fine with the faxes.
Any idea what this could be? The call goes tru and the other side takes the call, SIP seems fine. Then nothing happens (it seems) and the other side says bye.
Maybe it has something to do with the warning the manager told before the upgrade, that we need to check the hardware with the supplier, if it's still supported? (They said its supported and after the upgrade everything else aside from the fax works fine).
Like I said, tried everything already. From call code "call" to "ISDN 3100 Hz" to "Faxcall", line with G711 FAX, with G711 ECAN, With T38 fallback (no T38 here) etc. pp.
I even routed over the usual internet line and not our SIP only line...
So - if someone has a clue or even had the same problem and could tell me, it would be awesome.
Thanks so much!
