Hi
I have an analong line connected to the BCM50 and it shows as FAX when I check in Active Sets under Set,Telephony configuration.
How to check the configuration and How do I reset the DN in BCM50.?
I do disable and enable the TN in Meridian switches. But I dont know how to do in BCM50.

The correct forum for BCM queries is at
However, the analogue line data is found under "Configuration", "Telephony", "Lines" and Active Physical Lines. Your FAX line should be one of up to 4 lines. 061 to 064.

Highlight the line that your fax is on to look at the settings below such as Preferences or Restrictions etc.

You can't disable or reset the line in this area. You can change the Trunk Mode. In the UK, we should have it set to Loop unguarded, but I think it's usually set at Loop Guarded in most countries?.

To reset the FAX line, go to "Configuration", "Resources" then Telephony Resources to view the various modules.

You should see a GATI4 module on the 3rd line down and highlight the line to view lines 061 to 064.

You now have the option to disable the module and enable it again. You can also view the status of each trunk.

Another way is to use the BCM Monitor tool to see what happens on the FAX trunk.

I hope this answers your question?.
