fax detection for kx-ta624

trying to set up a ta624 phone switch so that it will detect an incoming fax (co #3) and send it to the fax machine (jack #6).

have added the ogm/fax optional card. customer does not want to use the auto attendant feature of the card.

entered the fax connection jack number (#503) to jack 6.


will allow outgoing fax, but will not pick up incoming.

any suggestions?

get ringmate will not do without auto attendant function!!S

also should be noted with the fax ogm card
this card only works if a fax is sent using the autosend mode (ie) if a person is sending a fax ...they insert the fax ,dial the number and then wait for the ringing tone then press send then this wont work by the time the sender hears the ringing tone the call has alredy passed by the fax/ogm card
