Fax Alarm with Supervision 8.8

I'm not able to send fax with the supervision application when an error appears. in the fax setup menu i can only choose between a "boca" and the standard "us robotics" modem.
but my modem is from a different manufacturer. i'm not using the supervision from the cls. it's a seperate workstation only for supervising the system. i've already tried to send a fax with another software and it's working!! this means, that the fax modem itself should work!!
