In CE8 Pro, is there a way to prevent users from copying objects to their favorites folder? I don't mind linking, but too many copies of a report can become a maintenance nightmare. As such, I'd like to limit copying to Users with developer or administrator rights, if possible. I don't see any way to do this through the CMC.

Is this more readily handled in CE8.5?

You can alter the csp pages to remove the ability to copy. This unfortunately is an all or nothing approach. I too would like to know how they handle this in 8.5.

In 8.5 you can fine-tune that right.
There are 22 different object rights you can specifically deny or allow for each user or group.
One of them is "Copy Objects to another folder"
