Hi !
TMU is a printed board assembly for tone sending, tone receiving, conference and connection of sound equipment for the feature Music On Hold.
Run FTTDI:LIM=X; to test the sednder and receiver.
if it is okay.
This command causes the initiation of a function test of a tone device. The function test can be executed for TMU boards or TSU/TRU boards. When TMU boards are used the test is executed by connecting a tone code sender to a tone code receiver both on the same TMU board in the specified LIM. The test will be executed on all TMU boards in the specified LIM. When TSU and TRU boards are used a tone message sender is connected to the tone message receivers and a tone code sender is connected to a tone code receiver in the specified LIM so as to check that they are working properly.
The printout which is obtained can vary depending on the test result. Since the printout is a result printout (ORDERED is printed out on the terminal), it is not obtained until the terminal is logged off or until another command is entered.
3.3 PRINTOUT 1
FUNCTION TEST (T) OK
END
The result of the function test shows that the tone senders and tone receivers function satisfactorily in the specified LIMs.
(T) indicates a tone device test.
3.4 PRINTOUT 2
Faulty tone senders and/or tone receivers have been detected. (T) indicates a tone device test.
BPOS ... Printout of board position for faulty board, in other words the LIM number- magazine-board position.
LIM = ... BOARD NOT FOUND A fault has been detected in LIM ... but the board position cannot be specified.
LIM = ... TEST NOT POSSIBLE TO RUN Function test could not be carried out in LIM ... because the switch cannot be set up.
UNREASONABLE NO OF FAULTY BOARDS The system can store information about 200 faulty boards. After that, this printout is generated.
Run FTMDI:LIM=X; to test the multiparty equipment on board.
The command causes the initiation of a function test of multiparty devices (conference devices). The function test can be executed for TMU or MPU boards. When TMU boards are used the test is executed on all TMU boards in the specified LIM. Three free inputs on the MPU board or the TMU board are seized. An internal test is then carried out with the aid of a tone code sender and tone code receiver.
The printout which is obtained can vary depending on the test result. Since the printout is a result printout (ORDERED is printed out on the terminal), it is not obtained until the terminal is logged off or until another command is entered.
1.3 PRINTOUT 1
FUNCTION TEST (M) OK
END
The result of the function test shows that the multiparty device functions satisfactorily in the specified LIMs.
(M) indicates a multiparty test.
1.4 PRINTOUT 2
Faulty multiparty device has been detected. (M) indicates a multiparty test.

if it is okay, no problem.
