Hi,

I have 2 monitors, bought from different places at different times, but I think they're identical (they're unbranded).

However, they've both developed the same "fault". When you boot up the PC, the screen comes on, but is completely white. If you switch the monitor off and then back on again, it comes back to life with the login prompt I expect to see.

Is this a faulty monitor ?

Regards,
Jay/UK

If possible, connect them to a different system.
If the same thing happens, then the monitors may be faulty.

If they work ok on another system, then make sure the video card is fully inserted.
If ok, then try a different card.
