Faulty CPU?

I recently got hold of 2 Compaq 933MHz Slot1 CPU's (including the big aluminium heatsinks & VRM's). I installed them in my Proliant DL380 and it recognised them and booted (it was dual 733MHz previously). I booted to the system diagnostics and updated it to include the new CPU's. On booting to Windows 2000 server was fine for about 5 minutes and then it bluescreened with a MACHINE_EXCEPTION error. I have booted to the Compaq/HP Diagnostics floppy disk and left it an a continual test but all tests show OK. I have booted it with TuFFTest Lite and this says everything is OK, but whenever I boot to Windows 2000 it works for a few minutes and then crashes.
I have tried the CPU's separately and the fault seems to follow one of them.

Does anyone know of any diagnostic software I can use to determine if it is definately a faulty CPU?

Thanks

Andy

Could be the CPU stepping. Are there any messages in the event log about mismatched CPU's?

No, nothing. If I just install a single processor it fails on the suspect one and not on the other so I am pretty certain it is the processor. I just thought it would show up as faulty through the diagnostics I tried?
