Faulty audio extraction in Acer writer

Hi,
I am having problem in extracting audio files with my Acer CDRW. Sync fails when trying to exrtact files with jitter correction on.
It was working fine for the last one year. Cleaning the head did not help.
Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.
