To establish a mirror, you should<br>1. select an existing partition<br>Keep CTRL-key pressed<br>2. select a drive which contains enough space to be a mirror of the partition, but the space you've selected can not contain existing partitions<br>Now the fault tolerance menu should work<br>
One extra thought, make sure the space you select to create the mirror set shows up as free space in disk administrator. You cannot select an existing partition as the second half of your mirror set. And again, make sure it is large enough to create the mirror.
