Hello,
An extremely embaressed person here. Appartently I fatFingered a password change on my system. I changed the craxxx4 password and am wondering if it is case-sensitive?

i don't think so, but you can do a printout of the system setup and it will show you what it is.

yes, the password should be lower case

My question to fonetek.....why does it have to be lower case....The pw can any combination of letters or numbers.
Unlike the Definity you can get into the switch directly
and view the current pw.

To all,

I failed to mention that this is a Legend system. So basically what you are saying is if I hookup to the console port, I can print the current system config and the password will show?

Thanks, Bob

from the admin port on the processor pack...with Dos SPM or
WinSPM...you can get direct access to the switch and go to
the print menu and get your info.
