Fatal NI connect error 12560

hello,
I'm using C++ to connect to an Oracle db and i get this error spit out in sqlnet.txt. However my SQLDriverConnect() function is returning a successful connection as being made. Any suggestions as to why i'm getting this connect error on one hand but a successful connect on the other? Thanx,
