I have a:
Store built IBM compatible. Windows 98, PIII 500 MHZ Cpu and 768 Mbs of ram. The problem is when on shutdown it gives me a fatal exception error 0028:c02a27a8 in vxd vwin32(05).
I have to say that the cpu said to me that it would not give me any display on 500 so I had to go into the bios and change it to 400 mhz. Do you think that this is a heat thing or a cpu thing? I changed it to 400 and it was happy as a clam and it booted into windows just fine. That was last year.

Help would be great.

Keep in mind that this is a driver problem. VXD is a virtual Device Driver. It could be a display adapter problem or some driver associated with an application. Sometimes an application is removed and something in the registry is pointing toward this driver and it is no longer there or something like that.
