Fatal Exception error

Dear all,

I need ur help~~~~!

When i boot up my system(Windows 98 se), it some time hang at the desktop without any icon and explorer, some time it appear a blue screen with below message:

A fatal exceptopn 0E has occurred at 015F: BFF7A382. The current application will be terminated.

I try to reinstall windows, after reinstall the system try for the 1st time reboot the system it appear a blue screen with below message:

A fatal exception 0E has occurred at 0028: C004E0B1. The current application will be terminated.

If i press any key other blue screen will be appear.

An Exception 0E has occurred at 0028: C005257 in VXD.---, This was called from 0028: C0009C8F in VXD.---, It may be possible to continue normally.

If press any key it will be hang and the screen will become like when us set the screen resolution to 1024x746 and the monitor no support that high of resolution.

Currently i was uninstall the new windows and go back to the previous windows, wwhich is display the 1st fatal exception error system.

Below is litter of my pc spec:
Intel celeron 300A
152MB Ram (2 week b4 just added the 64MB ram)
On board display and sound card

Hi swayda

After add extra RAM. But it OK for a week i added the RAM. R it may be a virus for it?

Sounds like the RAM. Try taking out what you added and running it without the new RAM for a while. If you don't get the BSOD, then you'll know it's the ram causing your problems.
It is probably 9 out of 10 times, a hardware problem. Best guess would be the RAM since you just added it. Every day above ground is a GOOD DAY!!!

Dear all

Thank you for your all opinion.

Currently i have delete the windows directory and reinstall the windows 98 without the safe recovery. Every thing is running OK.

But it still hang at when i convert the font type to other type. I'm using MS word 2k and chinese star 2.97 for the chinese word. It just can't change the font type to other type.

And some more is when i run PC Cillin 98 OEM version to scan disk, until the sim city 3000 exe file it will be not response and the HDD is still running.

The performance is a bit slow then b4.
According the two problem what is your all opinion?? Still the RAM problem or other issue??
